January 30 (SeeNews) - The city of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina will build a 60 MW solar power plant in a bid to lower its electricity costs, city mayor Mario Kordic said on Monday.
Mostar is working on getting the required permits with a view to starting the construction of the solar power plant later this year, Kordic said in a Facebook post.
The city will use the electricity generated by the solar power plant for public lighting and other urban needs.
Mostar is located in the southwestern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
