September 5 (SeeNews) - Bosnian flour milling and baked goods company Klas [SAJ:KLASR] said its net profit rose to 47,931 marka ($27,057/24,506 euro) in the first half of 2019, from 10,724 marka a year earlier.
Operating revenues rose 9.4% year-on-year to 35.5 million marka, while operating costs increased 12.1% to 35.9 million marka, Klas said in a financial report filed with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE) on Wednesday.
The company's total assets amounted to 87.5 million marka at the end of the first half of 2019, compared to 93.1 million marka at end-2018.
Klas produces some 80,000 tons of food per year. The company employs 960 workers. Its biggest shareholder is local company AS with a 93.1% stake.
