June 18 (SeeNews) - Bosnian state-owned road company JP Ceste FBiH signed a 17.5 million marka ($10.0 million/8.9 million euro) deal with a consortium of local companies for the construction of Stolovi – Drenovac road section, local media reported on Tuesday.
The consortium consists of Bosnia's HP Investing Mostar, Putovi Grude and Euro-Asfalt Sarajevo, news portal klix.ba reported.
The construction works will be financed through loans from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the European Investment Bank (EIB).
The works are due to begin on July 15 and be completed in 485 days.
The 8.785 km road section is part of the M-17.3 highway linking the country's only coastal town of Neum with the town of Stolac.
The M-17 highway, considered to be Bosnia's main transport artery, is part of the Corridor Vc.
