June 18 (SeeNews) - Bosnian state-owned road company JP Ceste FBiH signed on Tuesday a 12.8 million marka ($7.3 million/6.5 million euro) deal with a consortium of local companies for the reconstruction of a tunnel on the Konjic – Jablanica section of the M-17 highway, local media reported.
The consortium consists of Bosnia's HP Investing Mostar and Euro-Asfalt Sarajevo, news portal klix.ba reported.
The construction works will be financed through loans from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the European Investment Bank (EIB).
The works are due to begin on July 1 and be completed by December 15, 2020.
The M-17 highway, considered Bosnia's main transport artery, runs from the northern Croatian border towards the southern Croatian border and is part of the Corridor Vc.
