June 8 (SeeNews) - Total indirect tax revenue in Bosnia fell 10.14% on the year to 2.880 billion marka ($1.7 billion/1.5 billion euro) in the first five months of 2020, the country's indirect taxation authority said.
The five-month net revenue from indirect taxes after VAT refunds amounted to 2.352 billion marka, down 8.8% year-on-year, the indirect taxation authority said in a statement on Friday.
The net revenue will be distributed between the state-level government, the governments of Bosnia's two constituent entities - the Federation and the Serb Republic, and Brcko district. Most of the money, 1.032 billion marka, will be allocated to the Federation, the Serb Republic will get 520 million marka, the state-level institutions will receive 304 million marka, and 63 million marka will go to Brcko.
Additionally, the Federation received 77.9 million marka, the Serb Republic 51.5 million marka while Brcko came in for 2.6 million marka from special toll revenue for the construction and reconstruction of motorways and roads.
