SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), June 27 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Bosnia and Herzegovina in May totalled 374, up 9.0% on the year, the statistical office said on Monday.

Of the total number of permits issued in May, 284 covered buildings, whereas 90 were issued for civil engineering works, the statistical office said in a monthly statement.

Based on the number of issued permits, 727 new dwellings have been planned for construction, down by 3.5% compared to May 2021.

The number of building permits issued in Bosnia and Herzegovina last year was 5.4% higher compared to 2020.
