January 25 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Bosnia and Herzegovina last year was 5.4% higher, after a decline of 6.2% in 2020, the statistical office said on Tuesday.
In December alone, the number of building permits issued in Bosnia and Herzegovina declined by 0.3% to 367, the statistical office said in a monthly statement.
Of the total number of permits issued in December, 278 covered buildings, whereas 89 were issued for civil engineering works.
Based on the number of issued permits, 520 new dwellings have been planned for construction, down 13.2% compared to December 2020.
