SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), May 25 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Bosnia and Herzegovina in April totalled 343, up 3.9% on the year, the statistical office said on Wednesday.

Of the total number of permits issued in April, 279 covered buildings, whereas 64 were issued for civil engineering works, the statistical office said in a monthly statement.

Based on the number of issued permits, 890 new dwellings have been planned for construction, down by 20.7% compared to April 2021.

The number of building permits issued in Bosnia and Herzegovina last year was 5.4% higher compared to 2020.
