May 25 (SeeNews) - Consumer prices in Bosnia rose 13.2% on the year in April, after an annual increase of 10.2% in March, the country's statistical office said on Wednesday.
In April, the average prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 20.6% year-on-year, prices of housing and utilities went up 9.9%, and transport prices surged by 28.9%, the statistical office said in a monthly inflation report.
On a monthly comparison basis, consumer prices went up 4.2% in April, following a 2.8% increase in March.
Last year, consumer prices in Bosnia rose by 2.0%, after a drop of 1% in 2020.
