April 2 (SeeNews) - Total indirect tax revenue in Bosnia rose 3.24% on the year to 1.882 billion marka ($1.1 billion/962.3 million euro) in the first quarter of 2020, the country's indirect taxation authority said.
The three-month net revenue from indirect taxes after VAT refunds amounted to 1.545 billion marka, up 5% year-on-year, the indirect taxation authority said in a statement on Wednesday.
The net revenue will be distributed between the state-level government, the governments of Bosnia's two constituent entities - the Federation and the Serb Republic, and Brcko district. Most of the money, 866 million marka, will be allocated to the Federation, the Serb Republic will get 442 million marka, the state-level institutions will receive 182 million marka, and 48 million marka will go to Brcko.
