June 13 (SeeNews) - Bosnian state-owned road construction company Autoceste FBiH said it selected a consortium made of local civil engineering institute IG and civil engineering company Trasa to draw a preliminary design of an expressway from Bihac to the border with Croatia - an assignment worth 4.4 million marka ($2.4 million/2.2 million euro).
The work on the preliminary design of the expressway should be completed in eight months, Autoceste FBiH said in a statement on Friday.
The expressway will be 47 kilometres in length and it will pass through the cities of Cazin and Velika Kladusha.
The assignment will be is financed by the government of Bosnia's Federation.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Serb Republic is the other entity.
