January 11 (SeeNews) - Bosnian hydro power producer Hidroelektrane na Trebisnjici [BANJ:HETR-R-A] said on Tuesday it plans to issue new shares, aiming to raise its total equity capital by 435 million marka ($252 million/222.4 million euro).
The company intends to issue 435 million ordinary shares of 1 marka in par value each, the company said in a bourse filing.
Existing shareholders and new investors can purchase the shares at a price of 0.29 marka per share.
The issue will be considered successful if at least 60% of the new shares are subscribed for within 16 days. The starting date of the subscription period will be announced in a public call that is yet to be published.
The capital hike plan will be put for adoption at a shareholders meeting on January 21.
The company's current capital is divided into 385,164,196 shares of 1 marka in par value each.
Hidroelektrane na Trebisnjici's shares traded 2.61% higher at 0.236 marka apiece by 1210 CET on Tuesday on the Banja Luka bourse.
