March 23 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's Grawe Osiguranje Sarajevo, a member of Austrian insurance group Grawe, said on Thursday its net profit nearly halved to 2.3 million marka ($1.3 million/1.2 million euro) in 2022, compared with 4.4 million marka booked the previous year.
Total gross written premiums edged up 2.3% year-on-year to 57.8 million marka in 2022, Grawe Osiguranje said in a filing with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange.
However, the company's income from fees and commissions fell to 860,846 marka in 2022 from 1.1 million marka the year before, while operating costs increased by 2.7% to 19.6 million marka.
Grawe runs a unit in each of Bosnia two constituent entities, the Federation and the Serb Republic.
Grawe Osiguranje Sarajevo is based in the Federation, while Grawe Osiguranje Banja Luka is based in the Serb Republic.
