SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), August 8 (SeeNews) – Bosnia's Sarajevo-based Grawe Osiguranje, a member of Austrian insurance group Grawe, said on Wednesday its net profit rose to 1.6 million marka ($947,582/818,067 euro) in the first half of 2018 from 920,800 marka in the prior-year period.
Total gross written premiums increased to 25.4 million marka through June, from 19.1 million marka a year earlier, Grawe Osiguranje said in a filing with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange.
The insurer recorded operating costs of nearly 8.0 million marka during the review period, up 51.3% on the year.
Grawe runs a unit in each of Bosnia two entities, the Federation and the Serb Republic.
