June 28 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's gross domestic product (GDP) growth slowed to a real 2.2% in the first quarter of 2019, from 3.0% in the preceding quarter, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
Seasonally adjusted GDP increased by 0.6% in January-March compared to the previous quarter, the statistical office said in a flash estimate.
In the first quarter of 2018 the country posted annual GDP growth of 3.2% in real terms.
The largest real growth of the gross value added in the first quarter of 2019 was recorded in the wholesale and retail trade sector, the statistical office said.
Bosnia and Herzegovina consists of two autonomous entities - the Serb Republic and the Federation.
