October 4 (SeeNews) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's gross domestic product (GDP) increased by a real 1.7% on the year in the second quarter of 2017, after expanding by 2.8% in the first quarter, the national statistical office indicated on Wednesday.
The country's April-June GDP grew by 0.5% over the first quarter of 2017, according to seasonally adjusted data.
Bosnia’s GDP totalled 7.8 billion marka ($4.7 billion/4.0 billion euro) at current prices in the second quarter, compared to 7.0 billion marka a quarter earlier and 7.5 billion marka in the same quarter of last year.
In June, the World Bank affirmed Bosnia’s economic growth forecast at 3.2% this year, up slightly from 2.8% growth posted in 2016.
