September 20 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's Federation posted a trade deficit of 5.266 billion marka ($2.7 billion/2.7 billion euro) in the first eight months of this year, compared with a 3.461 billion marka trade gap in the same period of 2021, the entity's statistical office said on Tuesday.
Exports grew 37.2% on the year reaching 8.019 billion marka in the January-August period, while imports surged 42.8% to 13.285 billion marka, the Federation's statistical office said in a statement.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
