SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), May 23 (SeeNews) - SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), May 23 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's Federation posted a trade deficit of 2.16 billion marka ($1.2 billion/ 1.1 billion euro) in the first four months of this year, compared with an 1.5 billion marka trade gap in the same period of 2021, the entity's statistical office said.
Exports grew 43.8% on the year reaching 4.0 billion marka in the January-April period, while imports surged 44% to almost 6.2 billion marka, the Federation's statistical office said in a statement on Friday.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
