September 24 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's Federation government said on Thursday it will provide 100 million marka ($59.5 million/51 million euro) to businesses, in order to mitigate the consequences of the coronavirus crisis on the entity's economy.
The government will spend 30 million marka to eliminate the impact of COVID-19 on the tourism and hospitality sector, it said in a press release.
It will spend the same amount of money to maintain liquidity, working capital and completion of investments of companies active in energy, mining and industry.
The government will also provide 20 million marka for measures in support of the road, railway and air transport sectors.
Export-oriented agricultural producers and the healthcare sector will be provided with 10 million marka each to overcome the consequences of the coronavirus crisis.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
