July 3 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's Federation government decided to provide 2.9 million marka ($1.7 million/1.5 million euro) in subsidies to four airports in the autonomous entity, it said.
The Mostar and Tuzla airports will get most of the money - 930,000 marka each, while the airports in Sarajevo and Bihac will receive 700,000 marka and 300,000 marka, respectively, the government said in a statement on Thursday.
With the funds, the Mostar airport will cover expenses, bring its operations in line with anti-coronavirus measures and supervision. The airport in Tuzla will purchase raw materials, energy sources, small inventory and equipment and will cover insurance expenses, while the Sarajevo and Bihac airports will finance part of their operating costs.
Bosnia's Federation is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
