July 5 (SeeNews) - The government of Bosnia's Federation said it decided to launch the process of awarding a concession for construction and operation of the 9.8 MW Begov Han hydro power plant.
The power plant will be built on the river Bosna, in Zepce municipality some 100 km north of Sarajevo, the government said in a statement on Thursday after its regular weekly meeting.
It gave no further details.
Local news wire eKapija, however, reported on Thursday that the process of awarding the Begov Han concession was initiated on the request of Bosnian company Dvorac Energija.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
