June 6 (SeeNews) - The tax administration of Bosnia's Federation said on Tuesday it collected 3 billion marka ($1.6 billion/1.5 billion euro) in taxes in the first five months of the year, up 15.01% year-on-year.
Personal income tax revenue amounted to 281.7 million marka, whereas revenue from social contributions totalled 2 billion marka in the January-May period, the entity's tax administration said in a statement.
In 2022, the tax administration of the Federation collected 6.4 billion marka in taxes. up 13.72% compared with a year earlier.
The Federation is one of two entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
