March 30 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's Federation net electricity output rose to 794 GWh in February, from 731 GWh in the same month last year, the entity's statistical office said.
Electricity imports increased to 294 GWh on the year in February from 261 GWh, while exports grew to 369 GWh from 277 GWh, the Federation's statistical office said in a statement on Friday.
The net electricity output of hydro power plants decreased to 270 GWh last month, from 340 GWh in February 2019, while the output of thermal power plants rose to 524 GWh from 391 GWh.
On a monthly comparison basis, the electricity output in February was lower than January's 982 GWh.
Month-on-month, the Federation's electricity imports soared 37% in February, while exports added 10%.
