January 30 (SeeNews) - The net electricity output of Bosnia's Federation stood at 7,464 GWh last year, down from 8,876 GWh in 2021, the entity's statistical office said.
Electricity imports fell to 510 GWh last year from 933 GWh in 2021, while exports dropped to 1,330 GWh from 3,357 GWh, the entity's statistical office said on Friday.
The net electricity output of hydropower plants fell to 2,528 GWh in 2022, from 3,748 GWh in 2021, the output of thermal power plants declined to 5,109 GWh from 5,412 GWh, while the wind power generation reached 381 GWh from 278 GWh.
In December alone, the net electricity output of Bosnia's Federation stood at 680 GWh, down from 895 GWh in the same month of 2021.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
