SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), February 20 (SeeNews) – The trade deficit of Bosnia's Federation increased by 15.3% on the year in January, reaching 248.1 million marka ($134.8 million/126.9 million euro), the entity's statistical office said on Monday.
Exports rose 10.6% on the year to 475.3 million marka in January, while imports increased 12.2% to 723.4 million marka, the Federation's Institute for Statistics said in a statement.
The Federation and the Serb Republic are the two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In 2016, the Federation's trade gap widened 2.9% on the year to 4.7 billion marka.
