June 30 (SeeNews) - The industrial sales of Bosnia's Federation rose by 37.7% on the year in May, following an increase of 37.9% on the year in April, official figures showed on Thursday.
Industrial sales on the non-domestic market jumped 42.6% on the year in May, while sales on the domestic market rose by 31.2%, according to first estimates of the Federation's statistical office.
In May, energy sales grew 110.4% on the year, sales of intermediate goods increased by 39%, sales of non-durable consumer goods were 15.9% higher, sales of capital goods rose 22.9%, and durable consumer goods sales increased by 3.9%.
On a monthly comparison basis, the Federation's industrial sales were 1.3% lower in May, after rising by a revised 2.2% in April.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Serb Republic is the other entity.
