February 3 (SeeNews) - The industrial sales of Bosnia's Federation increased by 24.8% year-on-year in 2022, official figures showed.
Industrial sales on the non-domestic market jumped 30.8% last year, while sales on the domestic market rose by 16.9%, according to first estimates published on the website of the Federation's statistical office this week.
In 2022, sales of intermediate goods increased by 29.4% on the year, energy sales grew 28.6%, sales of capital goods rose 24.9%, durable consumer goods sales increased by 3.1% and sales of non-durable consumer goods were 15% higher.
According to earlier estimates by the statistical office, the industrial sales of Bosnia's Federation increased by 19.8% year-on-year in 2021, after a drop of 8.0% in 2020.
In December alone, the industrial sales of Bosnia's Federation rose 8.4% year-on-year, after an increase of 12.3% in November. On a monthly comparison basis, the Federation's industrial sales were 1.7% lower in December, following a revised increase of 2.1% in November.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Serb Republic is the other entity.
