July 10 (SeeNews) - The tax administration of Bosnia's Federation said it has collected 2.6 billion marka ($1.5 billion/1.3 billion euro) in taxes in the first half of 2019, up 1.8% compared to a year earlier.
Revenue from direct taxes fell 8.1% on the year to 685.5 million marka, the entity's tax office said in a statement on Tuesday.
Revenue from contributions rose 7.3% on the year to 1.8 billion marka in the January-June period on the back of higher contributions to the state pension and health insurance funds.
The Federation is one of the two entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
