September 22 (SeeNews) - The government of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Federation said it has granted energy permits to local MET Consulting and Aurora Solar for the construction of solar power plants with a combined capacity of 133.3 MW.
MET Consulting plans to build a 28.5 MW solar power plant, with an estimated output of 46.683 GWh per year, in Ljubuski, the government of the Federation said in a statement on Thursday.
Aurora Solar will build 22 solar power plants in Stolac with a combined capacity of 104.8 MW. Some 20 of the planned solar power plants will have an individual capacity of 4.95 MW, whereas the other two will have a capacity of 2.58 MW and 3.22 MW, respectively.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
