December 30 (SeeNews) - The economic growth of Bosnia's Federation slowed down to a real 2.3% year-on-year in the third quarter of 2019, from 3% in the preceding quarter, the entity's statistical office said on Monday.
In seasonally-adjusted terms, the gross domestic product (GDP) increased by a quarterly 0.5% in July-September, after growing by 0.7% in April-June, the Federation's statistical office said in a statement.
In the third quarter of 2018, the entity's GDP grew by 4.3% year-on-year in real terms.
The largest real growth of the gross value added in the third quarter of 2019 was recorded in the information and communication; financial and insurance activities; wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles; transport and storage; accommodation and food services sectors, the Federation's statistical office said.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
