November 20 (SeeNews) - The development bank of Bosnia's Federation has opened a tender for the sale of an Agrokomerc department store in the northwestern town of Velika Kladusa at a starting price of 3.8 million marka ($2.3 million/1.9 million euro), as seen from the company's website.
The deadline for submitting offers for the department store spreading over 767 square metres is December 3, the development bank said in its tender published on its website earlier this week.
The offers will be opened on December 7.
The potential buyer has to make the payment 30 days after signing the purchase contract.
Velika Kladusa-based Agrokomerc used to be one of the biggest food manufacturers in former Yugoslavia, employing some 13,000 workers at its heyday.
In 2014, the privatisation agency of Bosnia's Federation put Agrokomerc on the list of companies for sale. Since it could not find a buyer willing to assume the company's total liabilities, including overdue debt and unpaid salaries and social benefits, the agency started selling Agrocomerc's assets piecemeal.
In 2017, Bosnian private holding AS Group via its Velika Kladusa-based subsidiary AC Food, took over Agrokomerc's production units.
