June 10 (SeeNews) - The finance ministry of Bosnia's Federation said it is cancelling an auction of 20 million marka ($11.6 million/10.2 million euro) worth of six-month Treasury bills planned for June 11.
Taking into account the adequate level of liquidity of the Federation's treasury and due to reduced financing needs, the Federation's finance ministry has decided to cancel the planned auction, it said in a statement last week.
The finance ministry said earlier that it plans to sell Treasury paper worth a total of 370 million marka this year.
The next auction of government securities in the entity is scheduled for July 9, when the finance ministry intends to offer 10-year T-notes worth 30 million marka.
The Federation is one of the two entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other is the Serb Republic.
