April 29 (SeeNews) - The number of construction permits issued in Bosnia's Federation rose 5.9% year-on-year to 287 in March, the entity's statistical office said.
The number of permits issued for residential and non-residential buildings increased 8.0% on an annual comparison basis to 215 in March, whereas the permits for civil engineering projects totalled 72, unchanged compared to March 2021, the statistical office said in a monthly report earlier this week.
Out of the total number of permits issued in March, 254 covered new construction projects, 23 were related to upgrades and extensions, while the remainder covered works for reconstruction and conversion of buildings and spaces.
Based on the number of permits issued in March, planned dwellings numbered 615, up 52.6% year-on-year.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
