May 23 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Bosnia's Federation rose 15.5% year-on-year to 787 in the first quarter of 2019, the entity's statistical office said.
Of the total number of permits issued in January-March, 662 covered buildings, up 19.4%, and 125 were for civil engineering works, down 1.6%, the Federation's statistical office said in a statement earlier this week.
Based on the number of permits, planned dwellings numbered 925, down 2.7% compared to the first quarter of 2018.
The Federation is one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
