August 26 (SeeNews) - The number of construction permits issued in Bosnia's Federation fell 7.7% year-on-year to 204 in July, the entity's statistical office said.
The number of permits issued for residential and non-residential buildings fell 10.9% on an annual comparison basis to 155 in July, whereas the permits for civil engineering projects totalled 49, up 4.3% on the year, the statistical office said in a monthly report on Thursday.
Out of the total number of permits issued in July, 180 covered new construction projects, 16 were related to upgrades and extensions, while the remainder covered works for reconstruction and conversion of buildings and spaces.
Based on the number of permits issued in July, planned dwellings numbered 338, up 27.5% year-on-year.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
