SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), July 25 (SeeNews) – The government of Bosnia's Federation said it is directing a total 8.4 million marka ($5 million/4.3 million euro) from the budget to its airports to improve air traffic.
The Federation will direct 2.5 million marka to airport operator JP Aerodrom Bihac towards the construction of the airport building, runways and infrastructure, it said on Tuesday following its regular session.
It will also grant 430,000 marka to Tuzla airport for maintenance costs, and a further 2.5 million marka for the construction of facilities at the airport.
The airport in Mostar will also get 430,000 marka for maintenance and personnel costs, and 2.5 million marka for upgrade works.
The Federation is one of two entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Serb Republic is the other.
