April 6 (SeeNews) - The government of Bosnia's Federation said it will redirect 21 million marka ($11.6 million/10.7 million euro) to the entity's health ministry to finance the purchase of medical equipment for coping with the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The sum was originally meant to be distributed among the entity's cantons, municipalities and cities, the Federation government said in a press release on Sunday.
Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Bosnia rose to 675 as of Monday, including 26 fatalities, according to official data.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
