July 29 (SeeNews) - The combined passenger turnover at the three airports in Bosnia’s Muslim-Croat Federation surged 196.3% on the year to 739,857 in the first half of 2022, data from the entity's statistics agency showed on Friday.
Aircraft traffic at the three airports rose 108.6% on the year to 7,578 in the January-June period, while freight turnover fell by 5.6% to 859 tonnes, the Federation's Statistics Agency said in a statement.
The Federation's three airports include the Sarajevo international airport and the smaller Mostar and Tuzla airfields.
The Federation is one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
