April 29 (SeeNews) - The combined passenger turnover at the three airports in Bosnia’s Muslim-Croat Federation surged 221.2% on the year to 237,102 in the first three months of 2022, data from the entity's statistics agency showed on Friday.
Aircraft traffic at the three airports rose 111% on the year to 2,655 in the January-March period, while freight turnover increased by 5.9% to 434 tonnes, the Federation's Statistics Agency said in a statement.
The Federation's three airports include the Sarajevo international airport and the smaller Mostar and Tuzla airfields.
The Federation is one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
