September 21 (SeeNews) - The energy utility of Bosnia's Serb Republic said it has signed a contract with Germany's GOPA Intec International Energy Consultants for the provision of consulting services for the construction of the 48 MW Hrgud wind farm.
The consultant will be tasked with preparing the project documentation and supervision of the construction of the wind farm, Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske (ERS) said in a statement on Monday.
The total cost of the planned wind farm project is estimated at 64.3 million euro. Some 60 million euro will be provided by German development bank KfW, whereas the remaining part will be financed using own funds, ERS said.
In the following period, ERS will prepare tender documentation for the construction of the wind farm, which is expected to have an average annual production of 126 GWh.
Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske operates in the Serb Republic, one of two entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. Elektroprivreda HZHB and Elektroprivreda BiH operate in the other entity, the Federation.
