December 12 (SeeNews) - Bosnian state-run power utility Elektroprivreda BiH (EPBiH) said it is inviting investors to submit bids for the construction of the 16.22 MW Janjici hydropower plant (HPP), a project estimated to cost 122 million marka ($65.9 million/62.4 million euro), VAT excluded.
The tender concerns the design, delivery of equipment, construction and commissioning of the HPP on a turnkey basis, EPBiH said in a tender announcement posted on Bosnia's e-Procurement portal on Friday.
Under the contract, the hydropower plant should be completed in 49 months after signing the agreement.
The deadline for submitting offers is January 25, and the sole selection criterion will be the lowest price offered.
Elektroprivreda BiH, Bosnia's largest power utility, is based in the Federation as is Elektroprivreda HZHB, the smallest of the three Bosnian state-owned power utilities. Elektroprivreda RS is the power utility of the Serb Republic.
The Federation and the Serb Republic are the two entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina.
