SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), March 26 (SeeNews) – Bosnian state-owned power utility Elektroprivreda BiH (EPBiH) is seeking to hire a consultant for the Vranduk hydro power plant (HPP) project, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), set to back the project, said on Tuesday.
Letters of interest should be sent by April 22, the EBRD said in a statement.
The main objective of the assignment, with maximum available budget of 2.5 million euro ($3.2 million), is to assist and advise EPBiH in project preparation and management of the supply and installation contract to ensure timely and satisfactory completion of the project and to assist in building procurement and project management capacity during the preparation and implementation stage.
The assignment is expected to start in September 2013 and to last about 58 months.
EPBiH intends using the proceeds of a EBRD loan towards the cost of the Una Kostela and Vranduk HPP projects.
