SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), September 4 (SeeNews) – Bosnian fuel retailer Energopetrol [SAJ:ENPSR] said on Tuesday it turned to a net loss of 1.7 million marka ($1 million/869,196 euro) in the first half of 2018, from a net profit of 6.1 million marka a year earlier.
Operating revenues grew 11.6% to 82.8 million marka, while operating costs rose 13.2% to 85.2 million marka, Energopetrol said in a filing with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange.
Earlier this yea,r Croatian oil and gas company INA [ZSE:INA] boosted its stake in Energopetrol to 88.7%from 67% .
According to the securities registry of Bosnia's Federation, the government of the Federation, which previously had held a 22.1% stake in Energopetrol, controlled 7.6% as of February 11.
The Federation is one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
The Federation government said in February it has approved the privatisation agency's business plan for 2018 which foresees the sale of government equity in four major companies, including Energopetrol.
