SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), August 29 (SeeNews) – Bosnian majority state-owned engineering company Energoinvest [SAJ:ENISR] said its net loss narrowed to 2.7 million marka ($1.5 million/1.4 million euro) in the first six months of 2019, from 6.8 million marka a year earlier.
Operating income rose to 74.1 million marka in the January-June period from 49.2 million marka a year earlier, while operating costs soared 40% to 76.3 million marka, Energoinvest said in an interim financial statement filed with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE) on Wednesday.
The company's total assets amounted to 307.4 million marka at the end of June, compared to 345.9 million marka at end-2018.
Energoinvest employed 378 people at the end of the review period.
