SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), February 5 (SeeNews) – Bosnian engineering firm Energoinvest has started works on a major power transmission line project in southern Albania, Bosnian media reported on Tuesday.
Energoinvest has opened an office in Tirana as part of implementing the project for the construction of a 250-kilometre 110-kilovolt transmission line and the reconstruction and expansion of five transformer substations, Bosnian news agency Fena (www.fena.ba) quoted unnamed company officials as saying.
On January 31 Sarajevo-based Energoinvest signed a 30.5 million euro ($41.2 million) contract with Albanian state-owned power transmission operator OTS to carry out the project. Works should be completed within 30 months.
