December 28 (SeeNews) - Energoinvest [SAJ:ENISR], the gas supply company serving Bosnia's Federation entity, has extended by a year its gas supply deal with Russia's Gazprom, Bosnian media reported.
Energoinvest expects to receive information about the gas price for the first quarter of 2023 in the first half of January, broadcaster BHRT reported on Monday.
Gas-Res, the gas distributor serving Bosnia's Serb Republic, has also agreed to receive gas from Gazprom by the end of 2023, news provider Glas Srpske reported last week.
Gazprom delivers gas to Gas-Res and Energoinvest under long-term agreements, with the price adjusted on a quarterly basis.
Gazprom increased the price of gas deliveries to Gas-Res by 5.04% and by 9.7% for deliveries to Energoinvest starting October 2022.
The Russian gas is flowing to Bosnia via Turkey, Bulgaria and Serbia.
The Federation and the Serb Republic are the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina.
