October 20 (SeeNews) - Bosnian power utility Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske on Thursday announced a tender for the sale of 4,800 MWh of baseload electricity surplus, available for delivery between November 1 and November 30.
Elektroprivreda RS offered the surplus energy for sale in one lot, according to the tender notice posted on the utility's website.
Interested companies can submit their bids by October 26.
In September, Elektroprivreda RS announced the sale of 86,890 MWh of electricity in three lots available between October 1 and October 31.
Last year, ERS signed contracts for the sale of a total of 460,480 MWh of surplus electricity available for delivery in 2016 with five local and regional buyers.
The utility has an installed power generating capacity of 1,348 MW. Its average annual energy production stands at approximately 5,000 GWh.
ERS is the power utility of Bosnia's Serb Republic, one of the two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
Bosnia has another two power utilities - Elektroprivreda HZHB and Elektroprivreda BiH (the largest of the three), both based in the Federation.
