SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), March 26 (SeeNews) – Bosnian power utility Elektroprivreda BiH [SAJ:JPESR] said on Thursday its net profit more than halved to 20 million marka ($11.3 million/10.3 million euro) in 2019, from 52 million marka a year earlier.
The company's operating revenue remained virtually unchanged on the year at 1 billion marka, while its operating costs increased 0.7% to 981 million marka, EPBiH said in an interim financial statement filed with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE).
At the same time, the company's expenses on impairment and write-offs of receivables soared to 41 million kuna in the twelve months ending December, from 8 million marka in 2018.
EPBiH's shares last traded on SASE on March 19, closing flat at 13.9 marka.
