July 15 (SeeNews) - Bosnian power utility Elektroprivreda BiH [SAJ:JPESR] said it has signed a 30-year concession contract with the government of the Central Bosnia Canton for the construction and operation of two photovoltaic (PV) plants with a combined capacity of up to 50 MW.
Elektroprivreda BiH plans to invest 60 million marka ($30.8 million/30.7 million euro) in the construction of the Gracanica 1 and Gracanica 2 PV plants, which are expected to be completed in 30 months, the company said in a press release on Thursday.
The power plants will be built in the Bugojno municipality.
The Central Bosnia Canton is one of ten cantons in one of Bosnia's entities the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other is the Serb Republic.
