June 30 (SeeNews) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's economic output is expected to increase by 2.1% in 2022, the government of the Federation entity said on Thursday, quoting projections by the country's Directorate for Economic Planning (DEP).
In the Federation alone, economic expansion is projected at 2.5% in 2022, before speeding up to 3.2% in 2023 and 3.6% in 2025, the Federation government said in a press release after adopting the entity's 2023-2025 budget framework.
The Federation government expects to increase public revenues by 7.4% year-on-year in 2022, to 10.68 billion marka ($5.7 billion/5.5 billion euro). Total expenditures are projected at 5.598 billion marka, some 17.5% higher compared with 2021.
The IMF and the World Bank project economic growth of 2.4% and 2.7%, respectively, for Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2022.
